April 11, 2018 , Mustangs VS. Outliers Recap

The Throne Cup Finals started off with a goal filled game Wednesday morning, April 11th, in which the Ogden Mustangs beat the Utah Outliers four to two. With one goal and one assist a piece, Ian Currie (F) and Ammon Anderson (F) helped assure a win for the Mustangs.

When asked about scoring his first goal of the Thorne Finals, Ian Currie says,

“It was a great way to start the tournament. [My goal] helped us get on the board and got the boys going. This win helps us feel comfortable about our game and continue on an upward trend through the week.”

Matus Spodniak (F) and Sage Fleming (F) also helped win the game, with one goal each. Catch the Mustangs in game two, April 12th, 2018 at 2 p.m. as they take on the Western Division Champs, The Long Beach Bombers. The Utah Outliers will look for redemption as they take on the Ice Cats at 10 a.m. April 12th.
