Blazers Vs. Mustangs April 13, 2018 Recap

The Ogden Mustangs came stampeding in this afternoon as they took on the Oklahoma City Blazers. The Blazers were looking for a win to join the Mustangs who have already earned their spot in the semifinals. During the second period, the Blazers came out strong and went up 2-1 on the Mustangs. Shortly after the Mustangs responded with four straight goals. In the second period Jacob Laurin (F) earned himself a hat trick. 

“It was a great feeling to get that hat trick at that point, to have that hat trick when the team is winning our third game was even better” Says Laurin.

 After three periods the score was in the Mustangs favor ending five to three. The Ogden Mustangs are the only team in the Thorne Cup Finals to go 3-0 in the round robin sweeping their opponents. The Mustangs will face off against the Long Beach Bombers Saturday April 14, 2018 at 2 P.M in the semifinals.
