BOBCATS SIGN FIRST FORWARD Trevor Rohrig

by Alicia Large

The Casper Bobcats have signed forward, Trevor Röhrig. This 6' 185 pounder is a grinder on right wing, but has the ability to fall back to D if the team needs him there. He's a '99 with dual US and German citizenship. Last season Röhrig played for Iserlohner EC U19 Young Roosters.

Our scouts tell us that Röhrig can play in any special teams' situation, that he  likes to go where it hurts and he jumps in every puck battle. He is a blue collar worker on the Ice with DNL Tier 1 Junior A Experience in Germany and Austria.

When asked why he chose to come to Wyoming, Trevor told us, "After good and intensive talks with my agent, as well as Coach John, I knew that Casper would be the perfect for for me to develop as a person and as a hockey player.  I am very pleased to have signed with an organization like the Casper Bobcats and can't wait to start the season and bring back a winning season to the town of Casper!
