BOMBERS BOSETTI BREAKS WSHL ALL-TIME GAMES PLAYED RECORD

Fourth-year Long Beach Bombers goaltender, Domenic Bosetti, will make his first start as the WSHL's All-Time Career Games Played Record-holder, tonight. In his last appearance, on January 17, in Fresno, he broke a five year-old record, formerly held by Eric Messer (Tulsa Rampage, New Mexico Renegades, Texas Jr. Brahmas, Tulsa Jr. Oilers, and Colorado Eagles). Bosetti is the Long Beach Bombers' franchise leader in every relevant statistical category for goaltenders. Ten other goaltenders have started a game, for Long Beach, since Bosetti made his first career appearance.

The Long Beach native is having a stellar final junior season, thus far posting a career-best .930 Save Percentage, with a Goals-Against-Average of 2.50, to go with his 18-3-2 record. His numbers have him currently ranked 2nd in Save Percentage and Wins, among all WSHL goaltenders. Bosetti is also the WSHL's active career leader for Wins, Minutes Played, Saves, and Shutouts. The twenty year-old has his eyes set on a third Thorne Cup trip, and fourth consecutive Western Division title.

Long Beach Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Chris White, commented, "Boss has been a rock for us, not only this season, but the past three seasons. Last year, his numbers dipped, but we had no choice other than to ride him into the ground. He battled injuries all year long, but stepped up for his teammates. This season, he has elevated his game to a level we had not yet seen. He is challenging more, and his aggressiveness is paying off. We have played five of the top-10 teams in the WSHL Standings, and he has defeated them all. Since November 1, he is 15-1-2, and has not lost a division game in regulation. We're very excited that his perseverance, dedication, and leadership is being rewarded with this type of recognition. He deserves all the accolades, and there's really only one thing left for him to accomplish, in this league."
