Bombers Vs. IceCats April 13, 2018 Recap

Looking to clinch a spot in the semifinals, the Long Beach Bombers and the Idaho IceCats faced off on this Friday the 13th morning. The IceCats came out on top defeating the Bombers five to one. The IceCats are one of two teams to clinch their ticket to the playoffs thus far. Marcus Jernberg (F) scored two goals in today’s game. 

“It’s always fun to score goals and get involved and help the team win such an important game” Says Jernberg, “It feels really good to be one of two teams who has clinched their spot in the semis and I think we really deserve it”. 

Jacob Hedencrona, Alexander Westin (F), Blake Nelson (F), and Casper Sjodin each scored one goal. 

“It was an important game for us today to secure a semifinal spot. We played very well and showed each other how to play to win tomorrow,” Says Sjodin. 

The Long Beach goal game from Ryan Gil (F) who has been a huge asset to the Bomb Squad. The Bombers can still secure a spot in the semifinals with an Ogden Mustangs regulation win and anything but an overtime win by the El Paso Rhinos.
