Bourk Joins Eagles for the 2018-2019 Season

The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce the signing of veteran forward, Tyrell Bourk, for the 2018-2019 season. Bourk, a Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada product, comes to the Eagles after being a journeyman in junior hockey. The seasoned forward has spent over 70 games in junior hockey in the SIJHL, KIJHL, but most recently finished his last season in the NEAJBHL with the St. Paul Canadiens. The two-way forward has amassed 7 points in 17 games with the Canadiens while battling through a tough year of injuries.

"I am excited to be apart of the Eagles organization for the upcoming season, as well as apart of the Northern Colorado community. Coming into my 3rd year of junior hockey, I am looking forward to the opportunity to expand my game under the guidance of Coach Steve Haddon and his team," Bourk said, ready for the kickoff of the 2018-2019 season. The 6'0", 188-pound forward produced 3 points (1G,2A) in 7 playoff games for the Canadiens.

"Tyrell has been putting in the work all off-season so he can have a very successful last year of junior hockey. He plays the complete two-way game. His drive and work ethic mixed with his skill and ability to create offensive opportunities will be a nice addition to our group," said Head Coach and GM, Steve Haddon.

The organization has a lot of work to do to be ready for September.  If any new sponsors, restaurants, local businesses, billet families or volunteers in the Greeley, Eaton and surrounding areas are interested in joining the Northern Colorado Eagles family, please contact us via the email addresses below.
