The Colorado Junior Eagles are proud to announce that Eagles forward, Matt Jung, has commited to the Finlandia University NCAA men's hockey program for the 2017-2018 season. The Aurora, Colorado native spent the past two seasons with the Eagles producing 51 goals and 67 assists in 102 games placing him 6th on the all-time list in franchise scoring. "I'm proud to be an Eagles alumni and after two great seasons with the Eagles, I'm blessed to be able to move my career to the NCAA level. The Eagles were the closest team and organization that I have ever played for and I will cherish every moment I had with the team," said Jung.

The veteran forward is coming off his best two seasons of junior hockey with the Eagles, helping lead them to two Mountain division titles and two Thorne Cup finals.

"Matt has been a big part of our organization the past two seasons. His versatility to play anywhere separates him from other players. Matt's skill set and his competition level is one of the highest in the league. I want to thank Matt for all of his hard work and dedication to the organization. The Eagles family wishes him all the best in the next chapter of his academic and athletic journey," said Head Coach, Steve Haddon.
