Eagles sign Swedish D-man Andersson for 2018-2019 season

The Colorado Junior Eagles are proud to announce the signing of Swedish defenseman, William Andersson, for the 2018-2019 season. Andersson hails from Västerås, Sweden.  The 6'2", 170-pound smooth skating defenseman split time between the Surahammar IK J20 Elite Division and J18 Division 1 programs. Andersson recorded 2 goals and 4 assists for the J20 elite Division program and also played 11 games in the J18 div 1 division.

"I’m excited to join the Eagles organization. It’s a great opportunity for me to play great hockey and develop my game and I’m looking forward to the upcoming season," said Andersson, ready for his journey to Northern Colorado.

"William has a very strong hockey IQ. He will strengthen up the back end for us. His work ethic and attention to detail while playing a smart, strong two-way game will be a great addition to the organization," said Head Coach, Steve Haddon.

Andersson is the fourth signing announcement of the off-season. Stay tuned for more player signings and NCAA commitments as the off-season heats up.
