Eagles to Host Thorne Cup Championship

The Northern Colorado Eagles are thrilled to host the 2020 WSHL Thorne Cup Finals at the Ice Haus in Greeley, Colorado . The Ice Haus is a 1,600 seat facility with two private boxes and is located in beautiful downtown Greeley, Colorado, surrounded by over 50 restaurants, bars, shops, and hotels within walking distance of the arena. This will be the first National Championship held in Northern Colorado for Jr. 'A' Tier 2 hockey.

The event will take place March 31st-April 4th, 2020, and will feature the final six WSHL teams remaining in the Western States Hockey League Thorne Cup Playoffs. The finals are a two-flight, modified round-robin-style, with each team guaranteed three games.

The Eagles organization would like to the thank the WSHL Commissioner, Ron White, and the WSHL Executive Board for this opportunity. As an organization we look forward to hosting this event, and making it a first class experience for all the teams, WSHL personnel, family, friends, and fans involved in the finals.
