Eagles Top Rookie forward McMahon Returns

The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce that Eagles rookie leader from the 2017-2018 season, Sean McMahon, will return for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. McMahon, a Cumming, Georgia native, is coming off a standout rookie campaign with the Eagles producing 18 goals (tied for 3rd), 24 assists and placing the first year forward second on the team in scoring with 42 points in just 50 games.

"I am truly excited to be returning to the Eagles next season. This is home for me now and I want to finish what we started last year. The coaches and ownership have been great to work with and I believe they will help me develop and take my game to the next level," said McMahon, ready for the season to get underway.

The two-way forward who brings speed, skill and grit night in and night out is entering his 2nd season with the Eagles organization. During the 2017-2018 season, McMahon led in numerous categories. This included leading rookies in goals and points, while leading the team in penalty minutes to showcase his consistency in all areas.

"I am very excited to have Sean back. What he accomplished last season was not easy. Sean earned everything he achieved.  His work ethic and determination is what he brings to the table everyday. To have a first year guy be a top leader in points, but then at the same time, lead the team in fights, says a lot of about the high quality of character that defines Sean.  He leads by example and will be a big piece to our leadership group and organization," said Head Coach and GM, Steve Haddon.

The organization has a lot of work to do to be ready for September.  If any new sponsors, restaurants, local businesses, billet families or volunteers in the Greeley, Eaton and surrounding areas are interested in joining the Northern Colorado Eagles family, please contact us via the email addresses below.
