EDSON AEROS ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE FIRST PLAYER SIGNING

Edson Aeros President and General Manager, Axel Axmann, announced that the Aeros have signed forward, Ilias Okemow, to a contract.

Okemow attended the Aeros spring camp in May and immediately impressed. The 6’ 2”, 185lb player spent last season split between the Kalkaska Rhinos (USPHL) and Spruce Grove Regals (CJHL) playing in 36 games posting 20 pts (7 G, 13A) and 20 PIM.

Okemow is the first player signed to the Edson Aeros and is also the first player signing of the expansion Canadian Division (WPHA) of the WSHL.

“Signing Ilias is a great first step in putting a competitive team on the ice. He’s big, strong and fast and immediately stood out at the camp. We’re very excited that he will be part of the Aeros franchise and inaugural season”!
