Former Eagles Captain Arenson Joins Eagles Staff

The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce that Kyle Arenson, former player as well as the Eagles first captain in franchise history, will be heading up the marketing and sales director position for the second half of the 2018-2019 season.

Arenson, a Fort Collins, Colorado native, spent only one season with the Eagles helping to lead the organization to it's first ever Mountain Division final. Arenson was also named a WSHL first team All-Star as one of the top defenseman. Kyle received an NCAA scholarship to New England College from that all-star year with the organization.

From his time with New England from 2014-2017, Kyle helped New England College rank 15th in the country during the 2016-2017 and helped lead the team to the conference final only to bow out to Norwich who won the National Championship. Off the ice, he graduated with honors in only 3 years with a Bachelor's degree in business administration.

During the 2017-2018 season, Kyle was selected as the captain of New England College and completed his MBA in May of 2018.

"I'm excited to be back with an organization that has helped myself and so many others guys move forward in both in hockey and academics. Northern Colorado is a perfect place to introduce and share what the hockey community is all about. I am looking forward to working with all of its great people," said Arenson, coming full circle with the organization he started with.

The Northern Colorado Eagles kick off the second half of the season at home on Friday, January 25th at the Greeley Ice Haus vs. the Oklahoma City Blazers. On January 25th, the Northern Colorado Eagles will be Hosting a Local Business Appreciation Night during our game at the Greeley Ice Haus! Businesses from around the community will be in attendance. Local food and drinks will be served as well. Bring your family and friends, lets start the 2nd half of the season off the right way! Go Eagles!
