Hines Hits 200 Games Played - Milestone with Eagles Organization

by Eagles Staff

The Northern Colorado Eagles defenseman, Trent Hines, played in his 200th career junior hockey game on Sunday, January 27th vs the Oklahoma City Blazers. The Fort Collins native has spent his entire junior hockey career with the Eagles 2014-2019.

Last season, Hines hit a big milestone, on March 4th, in the last regular season game of the 2017-2018 season becoming the franchise leader in games played with 171 games.

Hines made Eagles history two seasons ago scoring the overtime winning goal over the Oklahoma City Blazers in game 3 of the Plains Conference Championship series to send the Eagles to their first Thorne Cup appearance.

Hines became the Eagles all-time leader in points for a defenseman, surpassing Adam Wammes, last month with 28 goals and 73 assists for 101 points. Hines ranks 4th in assists on the all-time list for the organization.

"We are very proud of Trent and all his accomplishments. His commitment, dedication and hard work to our organization for the past five seasons has been a big contribution to the franchise," said Head Coach and GM Steve Haddon.

The Organization would like to say thank you Trent and again, congratulations on this prestigious milestone.
