Hinton Timberwolves made a "big" signing today - as in 6'4" Bryant Joseph. The Chilliwack native played previous at The Fernie Academy for the Fury U17 team.
Joseph, who won't turn 18 until December, had a productive season with the Fury scoring 16 goals and 10 assists in 39 games played.
The Timberwolves are preparing for their first season in the Western States Hockey League. Open tryouts are scheduled for August 23-25.

Wolves Make Their First Signing in team history
Hinton Timberwolves are thrilled to announce their first-ever player signing in goaltender Carter Wickson.
A product of the Northwest Calgary Athletic Association, Wickson has plenty of experience at a high level having played in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) for three seasons. After his season at Edge School Wickson as selected by the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
Wickson was part of a CSSHL championship team in 2016-17 with the POE Academy posting a 1.61 GAA and .941 save%. He played the following season with International Hockey Academy in Calgary.
Wickson was thrilled about signing with Hinton saying, "thank you for the opportunity; really appreciate it, I'm very excited to come down!"
