Ian Young to the Wranglers

Welcome Ian Young to the Steamboat Wranglers. Ian was born in Arlington Heights, Ill., and began skating at age three. He started playing hockey at five, with the Park Ridge Hornets and Park Ridge Express, in Illinois. When he was seven, he moved to Lakewood, Colo., and has played with the Foothills Flyers since U8s. He has played AA since his second year of peewees and played Midget Minor AA the past two years, and during the 2017 season was with the team for a 3rd place finish in the national tournament. Ian is most looking forward to playing and living in Steamboat Springs as well as the opportunity to advance his career in hockey with the goal of playing on a collegiate level.
