JORDAN SGRO RETURNS to OKC FOR 2018-19 SEASON

by Eric Rodgers

The Oklahoma City Jr Blazers and Head Coach Gary Gill announced today that forward Jordan Sgro will be returning to the Blazers for the 2018-19 season. The 5-foot-11 Sgro joined the Blazers last season, participating in 45 games.

Sgro finished the season ninth in scoring among OKC forwards, picking up 14 goals and 17 assists for a total of 31 points.

"I'm excited to be back this season, and we have some unfinished business from last season," said Sgro, as the Blazers were knocked out of the Thorne Cup Finals last season. "I'm looking forward to trying to bring a Thorne Cup back to Oklahoma City."

Having coached Sgro during his stint in Cheyenne, Coach Gill is very familiar with Sgro's play.

"We are extremely excited to have Jordan back, this kid can do it all. We look forward to him taking his game to an even higher level, and helping lead the team this season."
