Monsters hire new head coach

Trevor Karasiewicz was named the Monsters new coach on Thursday.

Karasiewicz takes over from Kevin Kaminski who coached the team for the last three seasons. He was always considered to be a strong candidate having coached in the Federal Hockey League since 2013.

Karasiewicz forged a successful minor league coaching background before joining Fresno. He took the Dayton Demonz  to a league Championship in 2013-14'.
