Monsters sign Scandinavian forward Gustaf Wränghede

FRESNO, CA - Fresno Monsters (@WSHLMonsters) announced today that the club has signed Scandinavian forward Gustaf Wränghede for the 2018-19' season.

Wränghede, 20, posted 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) and a plus-6 rating in 32 games with Huddinge IK in J20 Elit.

"The gritty forward will add experience and should make an immediate impact" said Scandinavian Hockey Consulting.

With 132 career games in the Swedish Junior Hockey system, Wränghede recorded 63 points (23 goals, 40 assists), 79 penalty minutes and a plus-24 rating.

The five-foot-seven, 170-pound forward is a native of Stockholm, Sweden.
