Morotti Joins Eagles for the 2018-2019 Season

The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce the signing of Swiss forward, Joël Morotti, for the 2018-2019 season. Morotti grew up playing in Ambri, but calls Gambarogno, Switzerland home. The Swiss product comes to the Eagles after spending the past 119 games playing for the Ambri-Piotta U20 Elite Jr A program. In that time, the veteran has produced 40 points. In 2017-2018, the two-way forward also produced 4 points in 6 playoff games.

"Joël is a dynamic player. He has a high hockey IQ with the skills to go with it. His character and leadership is what stands out on the teams he's played on. Joël is always sacrificing his body and putting the team first. We are excited to have Joel join our organization and help him get to the next level," said Head Coach and GM, Steve Haddon.
