The West Sound Admirals, newest member of the Western States Hockey leagues Northwest Division, are pleased to announce the signing of Forward Sam Morris.  The former West Sound Warrior and Wilkes Barre Scranton Knight.  Has been in conversations with General Manager Daniello for some time now.

Morris was with the West Sound Warriors in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.  "I am very excited to come back to where my junior career started" said Sam.  "The city of Bremerton has been great to me and I'm sure it will bring a great end to my junior career as well!"

General Manager Dave Daniello has been recruiting Morris since June.  "I have been talking to Sam for a couple months and just waiting for him to say yes" says Daniello.  "He is an experience player who can help lead the ship and point the younger guys in the right direction.   Again, he is a perfect example of bringing a great person into the locker.  I am happy he decided on West Sound!"

The Morris signing comes on the heels of several other recent signings that seem to make West Sound a legitimate contender in the Northwest Division.  "Well, the real work hasn't even started yet. said GM Daniello when asked about his chances this season.  "On paper I like what we have done.  We are bringing in quality hockey players that will be good for the Bremerton community.  All of these guys can play - there is no question there.  It is my job to help mold them into tight knit group.  A group that will think team first and put individual goals aside.  If we can do that, then it will be a very successful season."

The Admirals are hosting a Billet / Volunteer meeting Thursday, August 16th at the Bremerton Ice Center.  The meeting will start at 5:45pm.   Billet families are needed for the many players coming in from all over the world, as well as, game day volunteers such as Ticket sales, Play by Play announcer, and Rink announcer.

The West Sound Admirals will be announcing more signings in the coming days.  Players interested in becoming an Admiral should contact General Manager Dave Daniello by emailing, by calling 207-542-7899, or by completing the Player prospect information at
