The Ogden Mustangs have added veteran goaltender Alex Neverve for the 2018-19 season.

Neverve, born in 1998 and entering his final season of junior hockey  eligibility, comes to the Mustangs after playing for the New Jersey 87’s  in the EHLP last season. In seven games played he had a 2.54 goals  against average and .897 save percentage.

“I’m definitely looking forward to the season’s start,” Neverve said.  “The team is clicking real well, and everyone seems to be finding their  bearings early. The community support for the team is insane, and I’m  really looking forward to getting to experience the electricity of our  fans at our games this season. Overall, I’m looking to start the season  on a positive note here.”

Neverve (pronounce “Never-vee”) calls San Jose, Calif., home. At  5-feet-9-inches and 159 pounds, he has an aggressive, quick and athletic style of goaltending.

“I’m looking to bring a hard work ethic as well as my experience at  the juniors level to be one of the leaders on this team in the net,”  Neverve said.
