Mustangs add USPHL forward McKinley
The Ogden Mustangs have added former USPHL forward Ethan McKinley for the 2018-19 season.
McKinley spent the past two seasons working his way up from the USP3HL with the Islanders Hockey Club in 2016-17, to stints with the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack in both the USPHL Elite and USPHL Premier last season. He had 25 points in 42 games last season.
McKinley describes his style of play as a hard-working playmaker who loves playing fast on both sides of the ice.
“I feel very excited and blessed to play for a team like the Mustangs,” McKinley said. “My time here has been amazing so far. The fans and staff have been amazing. All the people I’ve talked to have had nothing but great things to tell me about Coach Laime and this team.”
McKinley calls Odessa, Texas home and stands at 5-feet-11-inches and 155 pounds. Born in 1999, he’ll have another season of junior hockey eligibility remaining after this one.
