The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce the return of two former Northern Colorado Eagles players, Levi Weber and Tanner Ulland, for the 2018-2019 season. Tanner Ulland, a Fort Collins, Colorado native, spent three seasons with the organization as a player from 2013-2016 helping the Eagles to a Mountain Division Title and the Eagles' first Thorne Cup appearance. In 143 games in an Eagles uniform, Ulland produced 68 goals and 85 assists for a 153 points placing him 2nd in the all-time franchise scoring records. After having a successful junior hockey career, Tanner went on to receive a scholarship at University of Oklahoma where he continued on his hockey career playing for the Men's D1 team. Tanner has recently graduated from OU with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Sport Management. Today, we welcome Tanner back to the team in his new role as the Marketing and Sales Director.

"The Northern Colorado Eagles will always have a place in my heart. Coach Haddon provided me with my only opportunity to play Junior hockey and I will forever be grateful for my three years playing under him and proudly wearing the Eagles logo. To return to the franchise after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management and work off the ice, behind the scenes, alongside Coach Haddon is an honor and I'll work just as hard towards success as I did for the three years on the ice," said Ulland ready to help the Eagles organization grow.

Levi Weber also makes his return to the organization along side his former teammate, Ulland. The Eaton, Colorado native spent 3 seasons in an Eagles uniform as a player from 2013-2016. Weber was also a part in helping the Eagles to a Mountain Division Title and the Eagles' first Thorne Cup appearance. In 137 games, Weber produced 90 goals and 99 assists for a total of 189 points to place himself as the all-time leading scorer in franchise history. After finishing an incredible junior hockey career, Levi had many options in drawing lots of NCAA schools, but chose to take the professional route. He earned a tryout with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL where he competed hard and had a great camp, but was eventually released and signed with the Port Huron Prowlers of the FHL. From there, Weber decided to go back to school and had a short stint at University of Northern Colorado. Levi is currently going to school at night in Radiologic Technology. Today, we would like to welcome Levi back in his new role with the organization as the video coach and the assistant to hockey relations.

"As a former player, Coach Haddon and the organization have done so much for me. I am excited to be given this opportunity to be a part of the Northern Colorado Eagles again. I am looking forward to helping the organization grow," said Weber, the Eagles all-time points leader.

"To have two former players return and help this organization grow is an amazing story. Tanner and Levi were both here from day 1. Both players had amazing success on the ice, as well as in the community. They understand the culture here and are aware of the expectations both on and off the ice. To be able to add these two guys back into our organization is most certainly going to make us stronger," said Head Coach and GM, Steve Haddon.

The organization has a lot of work to do to be ready for September.  If any new sponsors, restaurants, local businesses, billet families or volunteers in the Greeley, Eaton and surrounding areas are interested in joining the Northern Colorado Eagles family, please contact us via the email addresses below.
