Veterans Hildebrand and Quinn Return for 2018-2019 season

The Northern Colorado Eagles are proud to announce the return of veteran forwards Eric Hildebrand and Reilly Quinn for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Hildebrand, a Brandon, Manitoba native, is coming off a solid rookie campaign with the Eagles producing 10 goals and 16 assists to finish his first year in the WSHL with 26 total points 48 games.

"I am excited to get back to Colorado and start working towards the Thorne Cup," said Hildebrand, ready for the season to get underway.

"Eric came right out of the gate flying when he got here. He had a really good start. A couple set backs with injuries and adjusting to Junior hockey is always a part of the process. Eric's stats don't show how important he was to our line up each night and how versatile he is. I am excited to help him take his game to another level," said Head Coach and GM, Steve Haddon.

Reilly Quinn, a Parker, Colorado product, returns for his third season with the Eagles franchise. Last season, the gritty forward hit career highs in all categories. In 74 games over the past two seasons, the young forward has produced 26 points while battling through injury and had his season cut short because of a season ending surgery.

"I am looking forward to keeping up the success we have had the past few seasons. Hopefully we can build off of that and bring home the Thorne Cup to Northern Colorado," said Quinn, ready for the challenge.

"Quinner made our team right out of camp and during his first season with us, he was one of the youngest players on the team making it a learning year for him. Last season, he had a great start and was moving his way up the line up making a ton of growth and then he got hurt. I know that was frustrating, but it is part of the game and he handled it like a pro. He is a player that is fearless through and through and you never count him out. He will prove you wrong night in and night out. I know he is working hard this summer, healing up and getting stronger, physically. Reilly plays a hard nose, heavy game and I know that this can be a strong year for him," said Head Coach and GM, Steve Haddon.

The organization has a lot of work to do to be ready for September.  If any new sponsors, restaurants, local businesses, billet families or volunteers in the Greeley, Eaton and surrounding areas are interested in joining the Northern Colorado Eagles family, please contact us via the email addresses below.
