West Sound names Neal Burgess as Head Coach

Let's Welcome Head Coach Neal Burgess to the Admirals Family!

Burgess comes to us from Ontario, Canada where he most recently served as the General Manager of the Bradford Bulls Junior A Hockey Club. Previously, Burgess spent 2 years as the Head Coach of the Seguin Huskies Junior A Hockey Club and 1 year as Associate Head Coach of the Parry Sound Islanders Junior A Hockey Club. Neal comes from years of playing experience, including 5 years of Junior A Hockey and 4 years of Varsity High School Hockey. His coaching style demands a good work ethic in his players, pushing for them to be their absolute best on and off the ice.

General Manager Dave Daniello has known Neal for many years and Neal is a former player of his.

"Neal and I go way back. He played high school hockey against my son, he played for me in my spring program in Maine, and I helped him get his first Junior A opportunity. He will be a fantastic coach! The players will love him, He will demand a high work ethic and compete level, while teaching these boys to become fine young men. I am proud that Neal will be leading our group of Admirals."
